Across Africa there are challenges of poverty, disease, corruption, and conflict. How can we bring hope and HEALing to our troubled land? Church Army Africa believes that the local church is God’s primary instrument to transform communities and to offer authentic hope and healing.
That is why we are working to establish churches across the continent that communicate the love of Christ and offer HEALing through:
Access to justice
Leverage wealth creation
H.E.A.L. churches are model churches that are contextually relevant and mission shaped. Church Army works through the structures of the Anglican Church in Africa to share the Good News of Jesus Christ in word and deed, train church leaders, plant new churches, and develop centres of social transformation.
Church Army Africa is a pan-African institution with a mandate to influence the continent with fervent missionary spirit. H.E.A.L Africa is both a vision and strategy adopted by CAA for both training and practical ministry engagement in society. H.E.A.L is achieved through our training institutions : through Church Army School of Missions, Church Army Business School , Church Army Academy Kenya, Church Army Academy Uganda and College of Christian Ministries Malawi. CAA has other holistic or integrated ministries such as Centre for Urban Mission, Church Army Medical Centre, Church Army Bungokho Rural Development Centre in Uganda and Wood work industry in Malawi that seek to transform society through various sectors. Our strategy is that by 2020, Church Army should be present in more than 20 countries in Africa implementing H.E.A.L through various programs.
