Centre for Urban Mission (CUM) is a ministry of Church Army Africa (CAA), an institution of the Anglican Church in Africa. CUM began in 2002 with the intention of equipping the church to respond to the challenges of urbanization in African cities. CAA is committed to the H.E.A.L strategy (Health, Education, Advocacy and Leverage of wealth creation). CUM implements this strategy within cities and rapidly urbanizing spaces across Africa. The overall aim of CUM is to equip church leaders in urban mission while working with local churches to bring about holistic transformation of informal settlements.

Through our partnership with local churches, we've seen remarkable transformation in Kibera's informal settlements. Over 500 families have been reached with both spiritual and practical support.
Our youth development initiative has trained over 200 young people in leadership skills, entrepreneurship, and spiritual growth, creating positive change agents in their communities.
Through our women's empowerment program, we've helped over 150 women start small businesses and develop leadership skills, transforming their families and communities.
